Boca Raton Riveria
On the barrier Island, right in the middle of Sun & Surf, Red Reef Golf Course, the beach, Lake Boca, and the Intracoastal waterway are the Boca Raton Riviera & Por La Mar subdivisions, collectively called Boca Raton Riviera by the locals.
This is one of east Boca Raton’s oldest communities with the oldest homes in the neighborhood having been constructed in the 1950’s. From the 1950’s to today, we have seen a consistent turnover of new construction offerings through the decades. The more modest homes tend to be smaller than a quarter acre and situated along the center of the barrier island on the “dry lots”; the most impressive, large scale residences can be found along the Intracoastal, with the pinnacle of the estates in the area along the southern border of Por La Mar with amazing views over the widest section of Lake Boca. Some of these parcels are over an acre with 150-300 feet of prime water frontage.
