Since I happen to be a big fan, I decided to pay homage to my favorite ice cream shops around Boca Raton. Here's where to get the best ice cream in town.
Phenomenom

Curiosity got the best of me when my friend explained Phenomenom's unique way of combining your chosen ingredients with cream, sugar and a a blast of hydrogen while you observe deliciousness in the making. P.S. - you have to try one of the bakery goodies... the cookies are just as yummy as the ice cream!
Serendipity

Serendipity is definitely a must if you are at the Boca Resort. It's like walking into the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory with retro toys and games, Gumby, Chutes and Ladders, Twister, silly putty, and just happy food. Legendary frozen hot chocolate - yes, just like the one in NYC and worth every calorie. If you're feeling fancy, there is a champagne vending machine and a $1000 Golden Opulence Sundae with 50 scoops of ice cream topped with gold leaf!
La Gelateria della Musica

For homemade gelato that can't be beat, check out La Gelateria della Musica on the northeast side of Royal Palm Place. The owner makes all of the wonderfully flavored and musically-named offerings. Pick from about 20 different ones. You will come back, often. My own favorites are Banana, Pistachio and Sweet Coconut.
Sloan's

Sloan's is located conveniently inside Mizner Park. If you're looking for great ice cream that tastes homemade in so many flavors that picking just one is really difficult, this is it! The peanut butter sundae is to die for. This is the perfect spot to have an after dinner ice cream and take a walk around Mizner Park.
Yogurt Emporium

Remember that Seinfeld episode where they figured out that the fat free frozen yogurt was actually ice cream?? Let's just say I've had that thought here - this frozen yogurt is so creamy and delicious, you won't believe it's frozen yogurt. The flavors rotate frequently and there is always a nice variety. My favorite flavor is the cookies and cream and the chocolate covered banana. Yogurt Emporium is in a neighborhood strip mall and is a well-kept local secret.
Cielito Artisan Pops
430 Plaza Real, Boca Raton, Fl 33432
Cielito offers hand crafted high-end frozen treats that might have the shape of a popsicle, but they are something else. They have dozens of flavours daily including vegan options. I had one with cardamom and it was phenomenal. Lots of natural ingredients and they let you try some samples (cut into tiny pieces served on toothpicks) to help you decide which flavor to get. They also carry PUPSICLES for dogs! If you're a fan of the 'Gram, you'll have a great time in the very feed-friendly sitting areas! Post a pic with the golden wings and tag me.
